It was a great and lovely stay at this hotel and jenny from the reception made this stay perfect and the best of all the room was very nice the pool and the beach and the gym were very nice the staff was very friendly and helpful overall the ambiance of the hotel was very nice

This was our third visit to Fairmont The Palm (Gold Lounge) and it certainly did not disappoint! When we arrived we were greeted by Gilbert and the wonderful staff who work with him in the Gold lounge area Allen, Myint and a special big thank you to Aashis who always had a smile on his face and could not do enough for us. I am sure we will be back in the not too distant future! The Miller family (19th to 26th April).

Flow reservation cancelled by Fairmont the Palm.

We booked dinner at their restaurant, Flow, and 4 hours before the reserved time they emailed to say the reservation was cancelled. It was a family event for visitors from the United Kingdom, very shabby treatment at such short notice. Be warned.

Had a wonder time here, the room service was impeccable Kangkana is such a credit to the Fairmont Hotel. The food was wonderful and a great variety of different restaurants to choose from in the evening. The staff at and around the pool were very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely come back again and also tell Mt friends and family to go the

Lovely hotel but far from most attractions

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Fairmont and we loved the hotel. It is very aesthetically pleasing. From the large lobby with high ceilings to the very large rooms and large balcony’s. Everything here is on a large scale but not too large that you get lost. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were large. There was a shower and a separate bath in the room along with dressing gowns and slippers. There was a hair dryer and iron in the room along with a coffee machine and bottled water that comes complimentary. There is a mini bar for you to use and you can request for it to be stocked. The balcony had a fabulous view and seats although no table. Pictures attached We stayed half board which gave us a choice of either breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. For breakfast there is a wide range to choose from along with coffee or tea and juice and water, which are included in the half board. There is an omelette station and a variety of pastries, pancakes and waffles along with the usual full English options and cold meats and cheeses, fruit and cereal. The bacon and sausage is turkey not pork. Pictures attached For lunch we ate at The Blowfish which is a set menu of things such as burgers and chips etc. pictures attached. Drinks you pay for separately. For dinner we ate in the Flow restaurant once which we found was ok but not great and drinks are paid for separately. We had dinner in the Frevo restaurant (Brazilian) once where you pay a supplement (almost half the bill) but it was definitely worth it. Every single thing tasted amazing and the service was great. Drinks are paid for separately We also had dinner in the Boldly Asian restaurant once but we were disappointed with the experience and when you walk in the restaurant gives you high expectations but the food was small in size and not very flavoursome. The service was amazing though. The lifts- these are so annoying. There are 6 lifts and you spend so much time waiting for one to arrive. There is no sign that it is coming or which one it is until the doors open. It’s sounds silly but this gets annoying very quickly. Overall the hotel is lovely and you can go for a nice walk along the back of the hotel going past many restaurants, beach clubs and other hotels however it feels like it is far away from most attractions and you rely on taxis or Careem the majority of the time. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus to the marina mall and emirates mall three times a day but the times are awkward ( attached photo of timings) and it is not frequent enough. For those of you that don’t know you can go to the fountain using the shuttle bus and get off at marina mall then follow the signs inside the mall. Due to the recent flooding we were delayed in reaching the hotel by 12 hours when we asked the hotel to prove this via email for us to claim compensation, the hotel ignored all of requests which is very disappointing as the claim is not against them but unfortunately they refuse to help us
